Our Tasting House at 953 Quartz Drive, Mosier, Oregon, closed for the summer season after Labor Day weekend. However, we will OPEN on Saturday, February 10, 12:00-5:00 PM. Since this is the Saturday before Valentine’s Day, we will be featuring our desert-style Sweetheart Cherry-Honey Wine. Think about buying bottles for your Sweetheart - the perfect Valentine’s gift!

Come by and explore our traditional Grape Wine Varietals and Red Blend, as well as our unique, dessert-style Grape-Honey Harvest Blend and varietal Cherry-Honey Wines. Depending on the weather, you can relax in a room in the Tasting House, or on its decks or grounds.

We source our ingredients locally: grapes (Garnier Vineyards with small estate contribution), cherries (Lopez Farm, Analemma and Columbia View Orchards, all in Mosier) and honey (Morgan and Sons, The Dalles).

Grape varietal wines for 2023 vintage: Whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier; Rose: Grenache; Reds: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah.

Cherry varietal dessert wines for 2023: Black Republican, Lapin, Skeena, Sweetheart; Honey (Alfalfa-Wildflower) for Cherry-Honey Wine, kissing your senses with the orchards’ bounty: spring flower pollination and the cherry harvest.

We began making wine 50 years ago and then life got busier with family, professional and ranching responsibilities. Now we can focus on making wine. Here, we’re picking up grapes at Garnier Vineyards.

Autumn at Garnier Vineyards, Mosier, Oregon. Vines go to the Columbia River, with Coyote Syncline, Washington, beyond.

The vineyard is beautiful and their grapes are outstanding, and they are less than 3 miles from Double Strand Wine.
